Fannie Mae Single-Family green financing business’s goal is to enable positive environmental impacts and better financial outcomes for homeowners by providing mortgage financing for energy-efficient single-family homes that have been HERS® rated and are certified under the EPA’s ENERGY STAR New Homes program.

 

To qualify the homes must be:

 

·Certified as ENERGY STAR or other equivalent Green Building Certifications 

·Rated by a certified RESNET® HERS® Rater

·Entered into the RESNET National Registry
